Love’s got me tied up in a fool’s cage
Birds laughing at me in a fool’s cage
Fish swimming past me but i feel ok
I’m getting comfy in this fool’s cage
I see people talking - I can’t hear what they say
I see people working - I’m stuck in one place
My momma told me there’d be very strange days
I never thought I’d be so comfy in this fool’s cage
I hear her coming and she ties up my leg
I smell her breathing and she muzzles my face
I’m bound and tied up and I feel ok
God I never thought I’d be so comfy in a fools cage
