Clip from the Mobile Register’s Sound-off section:
“I drink water when I [eat out] so I can pay a ten percent tip.”
What the hell is that abut? Since when has water justified a 10% tip? I takes just as much time to pour, it’s garnished with a lemon, and refills occur on a consistant basis.
The only thing water does is lower the overall bill.
