So, I took a two-month break from writing and recording in the studio for no real reason except I was becoming bored with myself. Last week, though, I stumbled back into creative mode. Two new songs have been written, and this one recorded as a demo in my bedroom.
Hopefully get back in the Green Room Studio next week to pick up where I left off.

Bedroom Demo
One score and seven
For the years I’ve been awake
Fording through the water
With a girl that I call Lake
Four hands to carry
All the burden of my weight
Oh oh oh oh oh
I was alive when I wrote this
With a desert in my mouth
Looking out at Rosa
From my sister’s only couch
Lake is on the phone
And she wants me to come out
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’m gonna grind my teeth away
Till I just can’t say that I love you
I’m gonna grind my teeth away
Till I just can’t say that I don’t care
My dad is down in Russia
Buying time to close it up
My mom is on the crossword
With the white zin in her cup
I talk about my parents
Just a little bit too much
Oh oh oh oh oh
I want a wife and a family
And a better written verse
I want a bullet my stomach
Before my mood gets any worse
I’d say “I want the same as anyone”
But I wouldn’t be the first
Oh oh oh oh oh
I’m gonna grind my teeth away
Till I just can’t say that I love you
I’m gonna grind my teeth away
Till I just can’t say that I don’t care
Submarines, they don’t mind!
I learned it from Destroyer.
Balance
The Mortal Beast
Bullet Points
And she was
Don’t forget this
I once thought Rigor Mortis was a person
A pit of rotting bodies
Human vs Robot
Heaven is a place where nothing ever happens
Time to get a change of scenery
Get over it
An introduction to living without walls (or choosing to be caged)
One Score & Seven
The Greater Existence
